Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-09-23

These terms govern your use of Zonely, a Slack app that detects time mentions in messages and replies with the equivalent time in each teammate's own timezone. By installing or using Zonely, you agree to these terms.

The service

Zonely reads messages in the Slack channels, groups, and DMs it's added to in order to detect time mentions, and replies in-thread with the converted time. It is provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime or accuracy.

Acceptable use

No warranty

Zonely is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. Timezone conversions are generated automatically and may occasionally be wrong, for example if a message is ambiguous or a teammate's Slack timezone setting is incorrect. Don't rely on Zonely as the sole source of truth for anything time-critical, like flight departures or legal deadlines.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Zonely, including missed meetings or scheduling errors resulting from an incorrect conversion.

Data

See our Privacy Policy for details on what data Zonely accesses and stores.

Termination

You may stop using Zonely at any time by uninstalling it from your workspace or revoking its access in Slack. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time, for any reason, including for workspaces that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Zonely after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
